REGULAR YOGA SESSIONS BY DHYAN FOUNDATION, INDIA AT IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM TO PROMOTE MIND-BODY BALANCE

Mataram, Indonesia Every Saturday at 17:00 WITA, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram hosts weekly yoga sessions led by Mahima Jaini, an experienced instructor from Dhyan Foundation, India. Open to both the academic community and the general public, these sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore the depths of ancient Vedic techniques for holistic well-being. The yoga practice introduced in these sessions is Sanatana Kriya, a method discovered by Ashwini Guruji. INTERNATIONAL FORUM GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD) EXPLORES RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE IN ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGY, ECONOMY, AND RELIGION

Mataram, Indonesia April 10, 2025 An insightful Forum Group Discussion (FGD) was held at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, bringing together academics and researchers from Indonesia and Japan. The event, themed Opportunities and Challenges in International Research and Community Service in Environmental-Friendly Technology, Economy, and Religion, was organized by the Faculty of Dharmaduta, Brahmawidya, and Dharma Sastra. The discussion featured prominent figures, including Professor Takahi Sachiko and a research team from Nagoya University, Japan, alongside Dr. I Wayan Agus Arimbawa, Ph.D., representing Universitas Mataram (Unram). One of the main concerns raised was the environmental management of religious campuses, with delegates observing campus cleanliness and waste processing systems. During the forum, Professor Sachikos team emphasized the need for eco-friendly ceremonial facilities, promoting waste discipline among communities. The discussion reinforced the idea that religion, economy, and environmental consciousness should function synergistically to support sustainable development. By facilitating cross-institutional collaboration, the FGD encouraged innovative research and practical solutions for improving environmental sustainability in academic and community settings. IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM GELAR FGD KERJASAMA INTERNASIONAL BERSAMA NAGOYA UNIVERSITY DAN UNIVERSITAS MATARAM

Mataram, 11 April 2025 Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram terus memperkuat langkah internasionalisasinya melalui penyelenggaraan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bertajuk "Peluang dan Tantangan Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Kerjasama Internasional dalam Bidang Teknologi Ramah Lingkungan, Ekonomi dan Religi." Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Ruang Pertemuan Lantai 2 Rektorat IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram ini menghadirkan narasumber utama Prof. Takahi Sachiko dari Nagoya University, Jepang, dan diikuti oleh perwakilan akademisi dari Universitas Mataram. FGD ini dibuka oleh Dekan Fakultas Dharma Duta, Brahma Widya, dan Dharma Sastra, Dr. Joko Prayitno, S.Ag., S.T., M.Pd.H., yang dalam sambutannya menyampaikan pentingnya membangun jaringan akademik global. Ia menegaskan bahwa banyak peluang kerjasama internasional yang dapat dimaksimalkan oleh IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, baik dalam bentuk penelitian kolaboratif, program pengabdian masyarakat lintas negara, maupun pertukaran pengetahuan dan budaya. Kerjasama dengan universitas seperti Nagoya University membuka ruang yang sangat luas untuk riset bersama di bidang lingkungan, ekonomi berkelanjutan, dan spiritualitas keagamaan. IAHN siap berperan aktif dalam agenda-agenda global melalui perspektif Hindu dan kearifan lokal, tegas Dr. Joko Prayitno. Dalam FGD ini, Prof. Takahi Sachiko memaparkan berbagai bentuk riset kolaboratif yang telah dijalankan Nagoya University, sekaligus membuka ruang inisiatif baru untuk pengembangan ilmu yang inklusif dan transdisipliner. Ia juga menyampaikan ketertarikannya untuk menjajaki program-program kolaborasi yang melibatkan IAHN, khususnya dalam konteks pengembangan masyarakat dan pelestarian lingkungan yang berbasis nilai-nilai religius. Kegiatan ini menjadi tonggak awal penjajakan kemitraan strategis antara ketiga perguruan tinggi, dengan harapan terbangunnya ekosistem akademik yang mampu menjawab tantangan global melalui pendekatan nilai, budaya, dan teknologi. FIVE STUDENTS FROM IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM LAND PRESTIGIOUS INTERNSHIPS IN JAPAN

Mataram Five students from the Tourism, Culture, and Religion Bachelor's Program at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram have successfully secured internships in Japan, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey. This opportunity serves as an international platform for enhancing their skills and experience in the fields of tourism and hospitality. The selected students will be undertaking internships at renowned hotels and resorts in Okinawa, Japan, showcasing their readiness to embrace the global tourism industry. Here are the details of the successful candidates: Ni Made Pursita Nadwiani (Semester 4), an alumna of SMKN 4 Mataram, will intern at Ana Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort, Okinawa. Nyoman Efendi (Semester 4), an alumnus of SMA Esa Prakarsa, North Sumatra, will join Hotel Southern Coast Miyakojima, Okinawa. I Gusti Bagus Wira Putra (Semester 4), an alumnus of SMAN 4 Mataram, will also intern at Hotel Southern Coast Miyakojima, Okinawa. Agus Dwi Putra (Semester 6), an alumnus of SMK 1 Luwu Timur, South Sulawesi, has been accepted at Art Hotel Ishigakijima, Okinawa. I Wayan Wirya Pradnya (Semester 4), an alumnus of SMK PGRI 3 Denpasar, will intern at Cypress Resort Kumejima, Okinawa. The Coordinator of the Tourism, Culture, and Religion Program, I Ketut Putu Suardana, expressed his pride and optimism for the students, encouraging them to leverage this opportunity to enhance their skills and expand international networks in tourism and cultural fields. Agus Dwi Putra, one of the students selected for the internship, shared his enthusiasm: I am deeply grateful, happy, and proud to be part of this internship program. It is the first initiative from our campus, and I am honored to participate and succeed in it. This internship program aims to deepen students understanding of the global tourism industry while promoting the spirit of Hindu tourism values and cultural appreciation on the international stage. RECTOR OF IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM ENCOURAGES STUDENTS AHEAD OF PRESTIGIOUS INTERNSHIPS IN JAPAN

Mataram Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., the Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, provided a motivational briefing to five students from the Tourism, Culture, and Religion Bachelor's Program who are set to embark on internship programs in Japan. The event, held on March 26, 2025, was also attended by the Vice Rector II, the Dean, Department Heads, Program Coordinators, and the Head of Academic and Student Services. REKTOR IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM SOSIALISASIKAN PENERIMAAN MAHASISWA BARU DI ACARA MELASTI PHDI NTB

Lombok Barat Rektor Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., hadir dalam rangkaian upacara Melasti yang digelar PHDI NTB di Pantai Melasa, Kecamatan Batulayar Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Senin (24/3). Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Bupati Lombok Barat, para tokoh organisasi masyarakat Hindu tingkat provinsi, serta ribuan umat Hindu dari seluruh Pulau Lombok. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Prof. Wayan Wirata memanfaatkan momentum Melasti untuk mensosialisasikan penerimaan mahasiswa baru IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram Tahun Akademik 2025/2026. Ia memaparkan berbagai pencapaian yang telah diraih IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram sejak resmi menjadi perguruan tinggi negeri pada tahun 2001. IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram terus berkembang menjadi institusi pendidikan tinggi Hindu yang unggul dan berdaya saing, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional, ujar Prof. Wirata di hadapan umat. Selain itu, Rektor juga memperkenalkan sejumlah program studi unggulan yang tersedia di IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, mulai dari Ilmu Komunikasi Hindu, Pariwisata Budaya dan Keagamaan, Pendidikan Agama Hindu, Kepanditaan, hingga Manajemen Ekonomi dan yang lainnya. Rektor berharap, ke depan semakin banyak generasi muda Hindu yang melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi di IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram guna mendukung kemajuan sumber daya manusia Hindu di NTB dan Indonesia. Acara sosialisasi ini disambut antusias oleh masyarakat yang hadir, mengingat pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan bagi umat Hindu di wilayah Lombok dan sekitarnya.
