
Mataram, June 5, 2025 – Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram hosted an official visit from Shangrao Normal University on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the open stage of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. This event marked an important step in fostering academic collaboration and cultural exchange between the two institutions, strengthening ties through shared experiences in education and the arts.
The program began with a traditional Pendet dance performance by IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram students. This welcoming dance, deeply rooted in Balinese culture, provided an immersive experience for the visiting delegation, allowing them to witness the rich artistic heritage of Indonesia firsthand. Following the performance, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, delivered a speech expressing his warm welcome to the distinguished guests from Shangrao Normal University. He emphasized the importance of building international academic partnerships and expressed hope that the collaboration would lead to meaningful educational exchanges in the future.
Representatives from Shangrao Normal University also took the opportunity to share their thoughts, offering sincere appreciation for the hospitality shown by IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. To further enhance the cultural experience, the event concluded with an interactive session on Balinese dance and traditional percussion. Delegates were invited to learn the basics of traditional Balinese movements and rhythms, engaging in hands-on practice guided by skilled instructors. The session provided a unique opportunity for the visitors to connect with Indonesian cultural traditions in a dynamic and enjoyable manner. Additionally, the delegation was given a campus tour, allowing them to explore the academic environment and facilities of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram.
